Service Description

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course, you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course. Upon registration it is important that you review and follow the directions on the e-mail attachment sent with your registration confirmation. This is a blended learning course consisting of online content a skills session and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities. For more information, please reference the attachment you will receive via e-mail when you register for this course. WE ACCEPT BASIC LEVEL ADULT CPR/AED CERTIFICATION FROM THE FOLLOWING: - American Red Cross - American Heart Association WHEN BOOKING ENTER STUDENTS NAME WHO IS TAKING COURSE ALONG WITH THEIR EMAIL SO THEY WILL HAVE ACCESS TO MATERIAL AND THEIR NAME REFLECTS ON CERTIFICATION. IF YOU'RE ENROLLING MULTIPLE STUDENTS INDIVIDUAL ORDERS WITH THEIR NAME WILL NEED TO BE MADE SEPARATELY. COURSE MATERIALS: - PRINTED ONLINE COMPLETION EMAIL - ADULT CPR/AED OR EQUIVALENT CURRENT CERTIFICATE (IF NOT FROM AMERICAN RED CROSS, MUST BE FROM THE FOLLOWING LISTED ABOVE) - INSTRUCTOR HANDBOOK (PRINTED VERSION/ DIGITAL COPY) - FIRST AID/CPR/AED HANDBOOK (PRINTED VERSION/ DIGITAL COPY) - IDENTIFICATION FOR THE FOLLOWING PARTICIPANT'S AND INSTRUCTOR MANUALS THE ACCEPTED FORMAT MUST BE: -PRINTED OR ACCESSIBLE VIA COMPUTER/TABLET NOT ACCEPTABLE VERSION: - CELL PHONE -EMPTY HANDED IF ONE OF THE ACCEPTED METHODS LISTED IN NOT PRESENTED DAY OF CLASS, ONLINE PORTION HAS NOT BEEN STARTED/COMPLETED STUDENT WILL HAVE TO REFERENCE TO CANCELLATION/REBOOK POLICY. NO EXCEPTIONS! THE ONLINE PORTION CANNOT BE COMPLETED DURING/AFTER CLASS. ONCE CLASS IS PURCHASED, YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR ONLINE PORTION FROM THE AMERICAN RED CROSS WITHIN 2-6 HOURS OF PURCHASE VIA EMAIL. DISCOUNTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS CLASS. IF DISCOUNT CODE IS USED THE AMOUNT TAKEN OFF WILL BE DUE PRIOR TO THE COURSE.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION/REBOOK POLICY: Our cancellation and rebooking policy states that all transactions are non-refundable once a class is booked due to limited seating. In the event of a no-show, full payment for the class is required to rebook. If you come past class starting time (utilizing 5 minute grace period) full payment is due for course to book at a later date. Rebooking is free if done more than 72 hours before the class; however, a $50 fee applies if rebooking occurs within 72 hours. You have 30 days from the original class date to reschedule, and if you do not have the required materials for an Instructor course, a $75 rebooking fee will apply. Date of future course will be selected same day and payment will be made prior to rebooking. Additionally, if you are enrolled in a blended class and have not completed the online session by class time, you will need to pay full cost of class and rebook for a future class. Renewal course: Participant will need to provide day of course a CURRENT and ACTIVE certification with the organization in which they are registering for. If they do not have the certification or have a certification with a different organization a rebook fee of $50.00 will occur as well as the difference in price for correct course. Payment and rescheduling will be concluded day of said course. If a course you are entered into that requires an exam, and the score is failing, a $30.00 reschedule fee is due upon rescheduling. LATE POLICY: Students are allowed to arrive up to 5 minutes past their scheduled time. Arrivals beyond this 5-minute grace period will require students to reschedule in accordance with the cancellation/no show policy, with no exceptions permitted. REFUSAL OF SERVICE: WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE WITH NO REFUNDS GIVEN IF ANY OF THE BELOW ARE PRESENT: 1. Disruptive or threatening behavior: This includes verbal abuse, harassment, or threats toward staff or other customers. 2. Violations of company rules: Enforcing lawful rules, such as dress codes ("No shirt, no shoes, no service") or prohibitions on weapons or pets (non-service animals). 3. Safety and health risks: Turning away a customer who is clearly intoxicated, unhygienic, or poses a health risk to others. 4. Illegal activity: Refusing service to a customer suspected of illegal actions, such as theft. 5. Refusal to pay: Denying service if a customer has a history of not paying for services rendered.
